Yesterday I worked with Pär and Matt from Twinpigs at an event in Mitte hosted by Lemoncat – a Berlin based catering portal you can contact if you’re looking for food/drinks to your party. We did 3 cocktails – Helmut and Pepperthyme Smash we have at Twinpigs menu and the third one was a premixed batch inspired by the Negroni that Matt prepared before the event and it contained gin, blood orange, grapefruit, Aperol and Lemon that we served with a dried orange slice. It was a hit and you might find it at Twinpigs tonight if they didn’t run out last night.
We didn’t have any non alcoholic cocktails but there was a request for it so when the event came to its end I mixed a few for them with the ingredients I had + a rabarber schrole that we brought for staff drink ! It was simpel and delicious and I called it:
50 ml lemon juice
25 ml thymian syrup
Kaffir lime leafs
✴︎ muddle the kaffir lime leafs in the shaker with the liquid
✴︎ hard shake on ice and strain over tumbler filled with cube ice
✴︎ top with rhubarb schrole (soda) and garnish with kaffir lime leafs
